EID UL FITAR CELEBRATION

Eid Mubarak to every one.

In this post I am gonna be sharing how usually EID -ul- FITAR  is celebrated in Pakistan and also how I spend three days of Eid.

Basically Eid is celebrated on 1st of Shawal. Eid is actually a gift for all the Muslims who spent the entire month of Ramazan fasting. 

Eid celebration is started from Chand Raat when it is announced that shawal moon has been sighted and tomorrow will be Eid. Since then Eid Takbeer started everywhere. I don't know about other area there are two mosques near our house so we can clearly listen. we usually wish our family, friends, neighbors chand mubarak or chandraat mubarak. On chand raat there is a hustle bustle every where in the bazar. But this time things are pretty different because government has announced lockdown during Eid so crowd was not as it used to. Although everyone is little bit sad because Ramazan is going to end. We get used to Ramazan routine. But Eid happiness overcome that. 



when I get to know that tomorrow is Eid so first thing I do is to iron every one clothes that we gonna wear on Eid. After doing that I will do the decorating stuff like changing all the sofa covers, cushion covers, curtains and do some lighting to make the house ready for Eid. After doing all this I'll do some of the pampering like some facial. I have already shared a post about Eid Preparation. You should also read that. You will get to know that how often we do Prepare for Eid.

while I am doing my preparation my mother prepare Eid dishes. So there are two compulsory dishes which you will found in every house. First is a sweet dish. Sheer khurma (Doodh sevaiyan) are most commonly prepared as sweet dish. and second dish you will found in every house is chaat.


After doing all the work if I get the time I go to apply mehndi. I just love mehndi and its smell. Its smell has memories. whenever I smell mehndi it reminds me of the old days. It also made me realized that now its actually Eid. I always keep my mehndi overnight for the better color. 

The next morning which is of course Eid day. We get up early in the morning. First thing I do after waking up is to remove my mehndi. After that I take a bath. After that I do some of the cleaning. All of us then have breakfast. After having breakfast all the male members of the family go to the mosque to say Eid prayer. In some families females also go to mosque but that's you own choice. Meanwhile they came back from mosque I get ready. I wore a new dress and some jewelry. It's blue in color. It's a simple lawn embroidery dress. I did a very light makeup. Once all the male members are back at home. We wish each other Eid Mubarak also we get Eidi from elder members of the family. Then we click photos to save as memories. 

Then the whole we spend eating, talking, watching TV, sleeping or receiving guests. 

On first day of Eid we had a Pizza Party with all of my cousins. Also we keep talking till late about old days when we were kids and how we use to celebrate Eid back then. It was a fun. 


Eid celebration continues 3 days. All there days we visit our relatives, friends or they visit us. This is how we spent our Eid.

In this post i am gonna be share how we should take care of our hair.  Hair has a very strong effect on our personality. Therefore, we should also take care of hair equally as we take care about our skin. Hair care is pretty easy. We don't have to follow a strict routine on a daily basis.
