Makeup products name and their use

 In this post I am going to be sharing about different makeup product name with their uses. This post is going to be very useful for beginner who doesn't know about what are different types of makeup products and what are their uses. Makeup has become now essential part of our daily life. So we should know what product we are using and for which purpose it is used so, that we don't look weird.

So let’s start. 

I am going to explain these entire product in a sequence in which they are used so that you can have better idea.

Primer 

First makeup product is Primer. Primer as the name suggest is used to prime your face. It makes your makeup long lasting. It is use to smoothen out the skin and make it more polished. It also protects your skin from harmful chemicals. Now we have to accept this fact the makeup products contain chemicals so we have to protect our skin from those chemical. So primer is a must to prep your skin it also fills out open pores. 

Don't massage primer on your face. Just take little amount of product and then press it on your face for better result. 

Concealer

Next makeup product which I am going to be talk about is concealer. These are also called color corrector. Now concealer is used to hide your dark circles, acne scars, age spot large pores, or any blemishes you have. It is basically to color correct your face. So that It looks even tone.

Don't apply concealer all over your face just target those areas that need more coverage. 

Foundation

Next makeup product is foundation. Now most of us would be familiar with this makeup product. Foundation is used to provide base for makeup. Now most of us do not understand the use of foundation. We think foundation is used to fair our face. They actually are use to even out the complexion and also enhance the natural skin tone. 

Apply an even layer of foundation all over your face and neck. Then smudge it with brush or beauty blender.

Face powder

Next makeup product that we use after foundation is powder. Now there are different types of face powder available but most common are loose powder and compact powder. 

 Compact powder is use to set your foundation and concealer. So that your foundation and concealer is well blended. This will also make your makeup long lasting. they also can be used without foundation.

Loose powder contain small finely particles that contain less oil. they gives you lightweight coverage. They are mostly use to control excess oil on your face.

Contour/Bronzer

Next makeup product is contour/bronzer. They are used to define and shape the structure of the face. It is use to create warmth on your skin.

Contour are use to defines and shape the structure of your face. contour is more neutral and gives a matte finish.

Bronzer is use to make the skin look sun kissed or tan. Bronzer tends to be more orange and can have a shimmery finish.

Blush

Next makeup product is blush. Now blush are use to enhance the structure of your face and cheek bones. They are use to add flush of color to your cheek. After putting foundation your face might look white washed. So you need to add color to your face. 

Apply blush on you cheek bone in the outward direction, and little bit on your nose and chin to keep it natural.

Highlighter

Next makeup product is highlighter. Highlighter as the name suggest are use to highlight different feature of your face. Highlighter are use to enhance your complexion and give skin a better dewy glow. It makes the cheek bone more prominent. 

Makeup brushes

Next there are makeup tools. There are many different types of makeup brushes available. These are basically applicator that is used to apply different makeup products. 

Eye shadow palette

Next makeup product which I think is most common is the eye shadow palette. Eye shadow palette are use to add color to your eyes. They are to highlight your eyes and contouring the eye socket. 

Eye Liner 

Next makeup product is liner. They are use to change the shape of your eye. It makes the lashes look lush. They are use to define the eyes, enhance the shape and create different look. Eyeliner are basically meant for eye led.

Mascara

Next makeup product is mascara. Now mascara is used to define and enhance your eyelashes. It makes your lashes looks longer, thicker and darker. 

Kajal

Next makeup product is Kajal. Kajal is used to keep the eyes cool and clean. It improves the vision. Now Kajal are mostly used for your lower lash line. 

Eyebrow product

Next there comes eyebrow product. Now there are two types of makeup products eyebrow gel, eyebrow powder and eyebrow pencil. All these are use to shape up your brows and keep the brows in place.

Eyebrow gel keeps unruly brows in place clear.

Eyebrow pencils are use to draw in hairs and allows you to achieve natural looking brow hair.

Eyebrow powder is use to fill in sparse.

Spoolie is kind of brush that is use to brush your brows and set it before using any powder or gel.

 

Lip products

Next there comes lip product. There are many different version of lip product like bullet lipsticks, liquid lipstick, lip liner, lip gloss, lip pencils, lip crayons. They are merely use to add color to your lips. 

Lipliner are use to draw the shape of lips.

Lip gloss are use to add shiny color to your lips.

Makeup setting spray

Last makeup product in our list is the makeup setting spray. It gives you an air brushed look, locks the makeup, keep makeup long lasting.
